Description

Ever wondered what more you could do to support small business and help your agency meet or exceed its goal? Watch former OFPP Administrator Joseph Jordan, SBA Associate Administrator for Government Contracting John Shoraka, and senior representatives from the Federal Acquisition Regulatory Council (DoD, GSA, NASA) present "Going Big for Small Business," discussing the importance of meeting government-wide goals and other small business contracting issues. The discussion includes several priority initiatives that were recently discussed with agency Deputy Secretaries at the White House Small Business Procurement Group, including the new FAR rule implementing section 1331 of the Small Business Jobs Act. The section 1331 authority provides contracting officers the ability to set-aside orders placed under multiple award contracts and is an invaluable tool in providing opportunities to small business.
