As underscored by the recent enactment of the Federal Information Technology Acquisition Reform Act (FITARA), acquisition plays a significant and important role in IT excellence, and an entire track was dedicated to this subject matter. IT and acquisition professionals participated in sessions around topics such as agile acquisition, integrated teaming, and the category management approach in procurement.
